Since there have been some more frequent messages recently from scammers who impersonate team members, we would like to show you how you can verify a team member.
TEAM UNIQUE IDs
We have a list of most of the team members' unique IDs at the end of this article. Follow the instructions below to verify that you are conversing with the correct person before divulging any information!
Even if you are sure that you are chatting with a team member, don't share your Private Keys/WIFs/Seed Phrases for any reason.
1. Click the "User Settings" button in the bottom left-hand corner.
2. Then, scroll and click "Appearance" and within "Appearance" enable "Developer Mode".
3. Once enabled, you can right-click on any team members' usernames and verify that the unique ID matches the one listed below by clicking "Copy ID", pasting, and verifying it's the same!
4. Now, when you receive a Direct Message from someone claiming to be a Komodo Team member, you can verify that their User ID matches with the value found from the server by Right-Clicking on their name and selecting the option "Copy ID".
